Do you like Cheetos? Do you also like mac 'n' cheese? WELL, WE GOT NEWS FOR YOU. Cheetos just released a line of mac 'n' cheese in three flavors: Flamin' Hot, Bold & Cheesy, and Cheesy Jalapeño.
As of today, you can get these babies at Walmart (and other stores)! So, we decided to try two of the three flavors and tell you what we thought.
We tried the microwave versions. The only difference in the microwave cups versus stovetop is 1) cook time and 2) the cups are a "just add water" method, whereas the boxed version requires milk and butter to make.
As you can see in the GIF above, it was pretty watery when we added the cheese powder — which literally looks exactly like Cheeto dust. You're supposed to let them sit and thicken for three minutes, then it ends up lookin' like this:
Finally, the taste test! The Flamin' Hot flavor tasted exactly like Hot Cheeto dust powder with an extra spicy kick. If you *love* Hot Cheetos, you will enjoy this flavor, but it was a bit too hot for our taste. The Bold & Cheesy flavor was tamer. It doesn't taste exactly like a Cheeto, but it also doesn't taste like regular mac 'n' cheese. It falls somewhere in between.
