If we were to steal the magical essence of a fairy tale, what items from the story would we want to include? This is the quest of the photo collection from Fantasmagoria. They feature a new take on the stories we know and love, and quite frankly, its awesome.

Hansel & Gretel

Complete with whites pebbles and the bread the children used to find their way home. However, the candy takes the spotlight in the story and the pictures. The tiny oven is also a nice touch.

This photo is a more subtle take in the famous fairy tale. The pricking of the finger with a needle is obvious, yet beautiful. Did you notice the 3 colours in the jars in the background? Yes, they are the signature colours of the3 fairies from the Disney adaptation.

Pocahontas

The nature really captures the essence of Pocahontas' world. Note that the stones are the same color as her necklace in the movie. The compass of course takes centre stage as it is crucial to Pocahontas and John Smith's journey.

Cinderella

The classic story is represented through the simple statements. The hourglass symbolizing her magical curfew. The blue tones reflective of the ball gown, the bottled magic of the fairy godmother, and the pumpkin. There are pieces of glass as well, as a sign of her glass slippers. The cutest part of course is Cinderella's rat friend who makes an appearance (Gus or Jack? hmm...)

Snow White

This is truly wicked. We have the evil queen's crow, poison, apple and even the (pig) heart that the huntsmen extracted.
