If You (Like Me) Are Still Rolling Your Eyes At A Lie A Man Has Told You, I Want To Hear About It

If you've been lied to and need to vent, here's the place to do so.

The other day I found myself going down a rabbit hole of tweets, stories, and social media content all having to do with the hit Netflix reality dating show, Love Is Blind. I did this mainly because I just finished the second season – I know, I'm very late to the game!

I recently read that one of the contestants, Shayne, supposedly lied on a podcast saying he was the one who ended things with his ex-fiancée, Natalie. This was despite the fact that the world already saw what went down on the show: Natalie was the one who did not go through with the wedding and called off the engagement.

After doing one too many eye rolls at this information, it made me think about men telling lies in general. So I have to ask, women of the BuzzFeed Community: what is the wildest lie a guy has ever told you? And how did you find out he wasn't telling the truth?

Maybe you, unfortunately, found out your partner was cheating and they denied the accusation with the most outlandish lie you've ever heard.

Perhaps a guy lied to you on a first date, but the lie didn't impress you. Instead, it made you lose interest in him because he wasn't being genuine.

Or maybe a guy you were seeing canceled plans with you at the last minute with the lamest excuse you've ever heard.

I mean, a guy once lied to me about his dog dying — yes, I wrote a post mentioning it — when he stood me up on a FaceTime date a few years ago. I'm still laughing at that one.
