Student Writes Letter Pleading Leaders To Speak Up

Noor Khan, student from Abu Dhabi University, wrote a letter to reach Muslim leaders around the world in hope of waking people up regarding the genocide taking place in Gaza at the moment and maybe, just maybe, make a small difference. She writes for pleasure as well and can be found at: https://nkhan92195.wordpress.com/

Take a Stand, we all will be judged on the Last Day

    Dear All,

Regardless of the "demanding" schedules that you all have, it is with great shame and dismay that I am writing this letter hoping that it reaches one of your large desks and absorbs into you, wise leaders. I am definite that you have access to all the news, major if not minor, of the world, whether it's of your interest or not.

Furthermore, being a Muslim and the perks of being in the Holy Month of Ramadan does instill certain thoughts to do more good, to give more charity, to repent, and all other good deeds to earn thawab, or points for the right shoulder. In spite of those two major bonuses, it is absolutely disgraceful to acknowledge that NOT one Muslim leader has uttered a word against the Israeli (cum-American) torture taking place in Gaza and not even voiced their say as a matter of fact. JUST for the sake of your political relations and "future-aid-by-big-daddy-should-not-be-lost-by-voicing-and-taking-action-against-gruesome-actions-that-in-fact-are-being-done-by-big-daddy" How much inhumane could one be to forgo the graphic scenes broadcasted on TV and online? It's been more than a day that I have been writing this and when I did, no Muslim leader had voiced up. However, in today's news it mentions that Turkey's President has. Thank you, sir.

Furthermore, regardless of religious sects and irrespective of "maintaining ties with Big Daddy" the Muslim leaders should promptly take an action against Israel and US, and send aid, not just monetary, but tangible aid. What is sad is that today we cannot go ahead and lend a helping hand or even take action the wrong or the acts of oppression with certain people. Why you may ask. That is because unless and until one does not have the backbone support of the Muslim leaders or rather the "prominent Muslim leaders" the act would be far from actual implementation. And even if it is implemented by one person, or a group of minimal and mediocre people, it would be taken for granted and hence not many would support it. On the contrary, when an eminent person takes a stand against gruesome genocide like such that of in Gaza, it goes viral within supreme minimum time period and boom; that is what stimulates and catalyzes pro-action.

Therefore, dear Muslim leaders, just how you are cautious of your relations with this world's "power" keep in mind the Next Life where each and every single individual will be questioned of their deeds, and what we did, heedlessly of our worldly designation. Yet, we will be questioned how usefully we used that and mind you, "powerful and famous" people have the advantage to use their "power" to cease unjust acts; however, that is currently not being done, unfortunately.

Last but not least, I urge the humane part of our humanity to please take actions, the least of which is pray, and all other actions that can be taken for our elderly, siblings and young in Palestine. True, it's a timing of test, but He helps those who help themselves. Also, if this somehow reaches anyone of the leaders, I hope it does just to make them realize, but if it reaches anyone related to the leaders, kindly, please wake up and take a stand, terminate this genocide and have some humbleness, we all will be questioned, if not for our Palestinians, then atleast for the sake of being successful and answering on the Last Day.

    Thank you.
