I don’t know how much Lucas Cruikshank (aka Fred - the biggest star on YouTube) got paid to plug this movie to its target demo of 15-year-old girls, but 500,000 views in a little over a week is pretty damn good.
So all I’m saying is I Love You Beth Cooper’s “Viral Marketing” team had a huge score in addition to the admittedly embarrassing flop above. I highly doubt I’ll be seeing this movie, but at least I’ve heard of it now, which was not true yesterday. More importantly, so have 500,000 screaming teenage girls who love Fred, but probably don’t read Gawker.
