These 15 Companies Have Been Hiring Tons Of Remote Workers

    Because cubicles and water cooler chitchat are overrated.

    Remote work has definitely become a thing, with 20% of the workforce expected to work from home long after the pandemic ends.

    Love it or hate it (I personally love it), working remotely is now the norm for many of us. 

    According to Global Workplace Analytics, a research-based consulting firm, around 4.1% of the workforce clocked in from home in 2019. That number jumped to 25% in mid-2020, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, and is expected to hover around 20% even after COVID is a thing of the past. 

    So, unless you're an office diehard or work in an industry that requires you to be in person (shoutout to all you frontline workers!), you might want to consider joining the remote work revolution.

    FlexJobs reviewed the job posting history of nearly 57,000 organizations to identify the companies that posted the most remote jobs in 2021 who will likely keep up the hiring streak into 2022.

    We're providing a rundown of the list's top 15 — including 4 that have made FlexJobs’ coveted remote work list every year since 2014 (now that's dedication to remote work!).

    1. BroadPath

    BroadPath partners with overladen healthcare organizations that need to outsource certain services — so the company's job postings call for roles like Medicaid claims processor, pharmacy technician, and member service representative.

    In addition to adhering to a 100% remote business model, BroadPath offers perks like mindfulness classes and virtual team gatherings.

    2. Liveops

    Agents at Liveops, a virtual call center, have the ability to create their own schedules, so you can decide when and how long you work each day. Talk about flexibility. 

    Recent job postings from the org have included client results associate and digital communication specialist, and the company's mix of fully remote, hybrid, and freelance jobs guarantee "unparalleled flexibility and work-life balance."

    3. SYKES

    Companies partner with Sykes to cover their customer service needs, so Sykes is constantly looking to hire top-quality service agents along with marketing, sales, and IT professionals. Recent postings from the company have included bilingual customer support agents, tech support, and writers.

    In addition to providing a hefty number of part-time, hybrid, and 100% remote jobs, hires have access to perks like athletic clubs, team movie nights, and a great benefits package.

    4. Working Solutions

    Working Solutions may almost sound too good to be true: The company is all about hiring stay-at-home parents, seniors, and military spouses searching for a super-flexible work schedule. 

    As a customer service outsourcing provider, Working Solutions is often hiring for customer service roles that include insurance verification representatives and travel reservation representatives.

    5. SAP

    Chances are you've heard of SAP — and if you've been following FlexJobs' remote company roundups, you've definitely heard of them. The software developer has been dutifully hiring remote team members since 2014, most recently for roles like client sales executive, travel engagement manager, and senior presales specialist.

    6. Varsity Tutors

    Varsity Tutors connects students with top-notch online tutors — and they do it so well they've been featured on NBC, in USA Today, and in Time magazine, among others. 

    Lately, the org, which hires freelancers, part-timers, and 100% remote workers, has hired for positions like director of marketing and payroll manager. 

    7. TTEC

    As the self-described "friendly faces and advanced technology solutions at the heart of customer experience," TTEC partners with companies and brands to provide customer service solutions. To that end, the company always seems to be hiring a handful of customer service and tech reps. 

    8. Kelly

    Kelly acts as the middleman between people looking for work and businesses looking to hire. To get the job done, they're constantly looking for remote recruiters, as well as positions like data entry operator and customer service rep. 

    Oh, and Kelly is one of those FlexJob stalwarts, meaning they've been a standout hirer of remote workers since 2014.

    9. Williams-Sonoma

    One company that doesn't outsource their customer service team is Williams-Sonoma, a legendary kitchen and home goods company that operates all over the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

    While almost all of their remote job openings are in the customer service department, you can rest assured knowing that all eligible Williams-Sonoma employees get benefits like healthcare, a 401(k), commuter benefits, and perhaps most enticing, access to Williams-Sonoma sample sales. Whoop!

    10. TranscribeMe

    Transcribing is one of the simplest — and most flexible — jobs out there. All you need is an attention to detail, a computer, and a reliable internet connection to transcribe audio or video files into text. And while some of the remote job postings ask for past experience, most note that "no experience is necessary."

    In addition to hiring transcriptionists, TranscribeMe has recently posted copywriter and financial analyst roles.

    11. Robert Half International

    Hiring quality talent is key, and Robert Half International, a company that connects employers with job seekers, makes the process easy. With a history that dates back to 1948 (talk about longevity), the staffing firm has won accolade upon accolade for its work environment. 

    Recently, the company has been doing plenty of remote hiring, including roles like help desk analyst, marketing specialist, and medical administrative assistant.

    12. Transcom

    Ever heard of European work-life balance? You'll get a taste of it at Transcom, a Swedish company that provides outsourced customer service all over the globe. Their team of agents can work from the comfort of home and enjoy a healthy work-life balance. 

    Recent job postings include several customer service roles — from entry level to managerial and directorial — along with recruitment and tech support positions.

    13. Dell Technologies

    Dell Technologies, yes that Dell, has been topping the Flex Jobs remote company list since 2014. And they haven't slowed down on remote hiring in recent years, with postings in UX, business strategy, data analyzation, and account services.

    And as you might expect from a company that's been hiring remote team members for almost a decade, the company offers a Connected Workplace program, which ensures employees can enjoy flexible schedules, job sharing, and compressed workweeks. 

    14. UnitedHealth Group

    Does the healthcare system leave you baffled? You're not alone. The UnitedHealth Group is on a mission to "help people live healthier lives and help make the health system work better for everyone." To fulfill their promise, they hire product managers, recruiters, analysts, and engineers — all remote, of course.

    PS. UnitedHealth Group is another one of those companies that's been topping the FlexJobs remote company list since 2014.

    15. Sutherland

    Sutherland has been around since 1986, but they've managed to remain a top provider of automated customer experiences (aka that automated voice you hear when you call companies like Amazon, Airbnb, and T-Mobile). 

    To remain on top of their game, Sutherland has been hiring remote team members for positions like mobile support associate, financial representative, and banking associate.
