Lastly, what do you use your powers for?

Maybe there's someone you're physically far away from, or someone you haven't talked to in a while, or maybe even someone who's passed away. Whatever the situation, there's someone who you deeply miss. It's hard, and if you're dealing with grief that's a whole different situation. The best thing we can do is find connection and love with those around us and remind our loved ones that we're grateful for the time we have with them.

You really miss someone

I don't blame you. The world is a mess, and on top of that we all have our own personal struggles to deal with. You might be feeling a little bit hopeless because no amount of energy seems to solve your problems, and every time something does improve, a new problem comes to take its place. It's draining, and it can make you feel like there's no reason to even try. It's hard to keep going, especially if you're alone, so I encourage you to reach out to people you trust to listen. Life will always have hopeless periods, but however sucky you feel about your life, you will push forward to find little bits of beauty or joy in the world.

You're sick and tired of everything

There's a secret weighing on your mind. Maybe you have a guilty conscience for some reason, maybe you're keeping a secret to protect another person's privacy, maybe you're keeping a secret because the truth could be harmful if someone spread it around, or maybe you're just hiding a big surprise for someone so it will be more fun, but it's taking everything you have not to tell! Or...maybe you're trying to keep a secret from yourself when deep down you don't want to admit that your new friend doesn't have your back, that you messed up, or that you're really into trashy reality TV shows. Keeping a secret from yourself never works because you can't keep pushing your own thoughts away, and if there's something you feel bad about hiding, nothing will change until you find someone you trust to talk to.

You're keeping a secret

Something good is happening. Perhaps you made a great friend, earned a job you like, or you're just feeling happier than you have in a long time. Part of you is grateful that stuff is going well, but there's also a part of you that feels like it's not quite right. You might feel like you don't deserve the good things coming your way. You might feel like it's too good to be true, and any moment something awful is going to happen and it will all disappear. You might be tempted to sabotage yourself. A lot of people deal with feelings like that, and sabotaging yourself will never fix your self-esteem. Whoever you are, you deserve happiness, and if something bad does happen, there will always be people to have your back.

Your life is going well, and it makes you uneasy

The mind can be a weird and disturbing place. 🤷 You feel like you have very little control over where it wanders and sometimes it can really bother you. Maybe you have intrusive thoughts, maybe you have nightmares, maybe your mood changes from fantastic to painful at the drop of a hat, or maybe you're being bothered by upsetting memories or worries. It can be tempting to just continually push away the thoughts and feelings you don't feel like you can handle, but that will just make them more persistent. You can't get away from your own mind so you might need to face your fears, and if that scares you, don't try to do it by yourself.

You're afraid of your own thoughts

Congratulations, this is the only result in the quiz that isn't kinda dark. There's someone you know who you would give your life for and lights up your world every time you see them. This might be romantic love, but it doesn't have to be! You can love your cat, your mom, or your friend.
