This Line On "Say My Name" By Destiny's Child Is Not What You Thought It Was And Men Can't Be Trusted

Sooo life is one big lie.

This is Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, friends. He's a musical genius, responsible for producing timeless hits like Brandy and Monica's "The Boy is Mine," Jennifer Lopez's "If You Had My Love," and Michael Jackson's "You Rock My World."

If you love R&B and pop, then you've definitely heard a deep voice go "Darkchild NaNa" on the Destiny's Child's classic "Say My Name." The famous "Darkchild" ad lib is a signature of Jerkins', though it's not on all of his records.

Here the ad lib at the very beginning of the record at mark 0:00.

Well last night, the super-producer reposted a video of gospel artist Kierra Clark Sheard singing "Say My Name," and then took to the comments to inform a fan that he "actually said '99' but everybody turned into 'nana' so I just rock with it lol."

Apparently @r3ldk has the ears of a moth (SN: Did you know moths have the best hearing?) because literally EVERYBODY has been saying "Nana." We've been saying it so much that even Jerkins gave up his "99" dreams and just went along with us.

So to conclude, T-pain was saying “and then” not “ooh wee” on Buy You A Drank, and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins has been saying "Darkchild 99" not "Darkchild NaNa." The moral of the story is that men are at the root of all our trust issues and I can't keep going through this.
