Rihanna Fans Think She Inspired Beyonce's Vogue Cover

The Navy and BeyHive are arguing on Twitter about which star was first to wear floral headpieces.

Beyoncé is on the September issue of Vogue in no makeup-makeup and a stunning floral headpiece, and sis looks F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S!

It’s here! @Beyonce stars on the cover of our September issue. Read the full story, in her own words: https://t.co/T7E2FbGDPn https://t.co/GcX0ziiJD7

For the fashion magazine's most anticipated issue of the year, the entertainer was given "an unprecedented amount of control" and hired 23-year-old photographer Tyler Mitchell, the first black photographer to shoot a cover in the publication's 126-year history. She opened up about having toxemia after birthing the twins, advocating for young artists of color, and researching her ancestry, among other things.

The cover surfaced just six days after the September issue of British Vogue, featuring fashion icon Rihanna also rocking a floral headpiece on the cover.

And of course, the Navy and Beyhive are debating which queen did it first!

@voguemagazine @Beyonce Thanks for the Rihanna concept.

@voguemagazine @Beyonce Hmmm seems a bit like @BritishVogue cover with Rihanna to me?

@FKANormani reminded opposing stans that Yoncé has actually been wearing flower crowns since 2016...

@RealHKS @voguemagazine @Beyonce Beyoncé has been wearing flower crowns since 2016... are you okay in the head!?

...But @RealHKS was basically like, "Umkay, but has she worn them on a COVER since 2016?"

@FKANormani @voguemagazine @Beyonce Has she made any cover with floral concepts since 2016?

Shots were fired, people were called insecure.

@RealHKS @FKANormani @voguemagazine @Beyonce can you rihanna fans stop being insecure when it comes to Bey? she’s a bigger legend and rightfully so, get over it

@voguemagazine @Beyonce rihanna’s insecure fans need to humble themselves and stop being jealous whenever Beyoncé does anything these were from 2015 and 2017, Rihanna wasn’t nowhere near the first to wear a flower crown https://t.co/BHtsiFuyOl

And receipts were pulled, tho we don't really know how accurate they are.

@thomas_marline @voguemagazine @Beyonce @BritishVogue bey shot hers first lol

And while the feud was indeed an entertaining scroll, this tweet from @dionnebernice_ trumped them all: "Or we could just celebrate the beauty and awesomeness of both of them...? Lol acting as if people haven't been wearing flower crowns for ages. Give it a rest."

@Beyleesii @RealHKS @FKANormani @voguemagazine @Beyonce Or we could just celebrate the beauty and awesomeness of both of them...? Lol acting as if people haven't been wearing flower crowns for ages. Give it a rest.

Amen to that, sister!
