Year-End Mashup Vid From A Century Ago

What would the big year-end trailer mashups look like if they were made 100 years ago? Or maybe 102 (who's counting)? 64 films. One year. This. Was. Film.

I love big yearly film remixes like Gen Ip's Filmography series and The Sleepy Skunk's 20XX Trailer Mashup series. I always thought, though, that the videos don't look that different from one year to the next. Film doesn't change that much from one year to another, after all.

So I thought: why not take it back a few more years? How about 10 years? 20? 50? No, gotta go back a full 100 - and then some (fun fact: I started working on this at the end of 2011)!

The result shows us just how far movies have come in the past century, and these films are still beautiful to behold in all their sub-480p glory.

One quick note, though: I'm gonna recommend you not watch this one fullscreen, guys. I mean. You can if you want to. I'm just sayin': videos of early film look a lot better when their blurriness isn't blown up to massive size.
