12 Female Wrestlers That Could Follow The Rock and Batista to Hollywood

The Rock and Batista aren't the only wrestlers with what it takes to make it in Tinseltown.

Their female counterparts may not be as well known, but they've used their time in wrestling to flex their acting muscles, showing off skills that lend themselves to particular genres.

The Drama Queens: Eve Torres, Melina & Stephanie McMahon

All three women have masterfully played characters on both ends of the good/evil spectrum. They've shown an appreciation for the details, giving their characters defining traits that make them jump off the screen. Whether they're called to play a villain or a hero, these three are up to the task.

Acting credentials: Eve had a recurring role on the recently cancelled Matador and will appear in the upcoming Scorpion King 4. Melina's only acting credit is in 20 Ft Below: The Darkness Descending.

The Comedians: AJ Lee, Summer Rae & Trish Stratus

Wrestling exploits have given these three the opportunity to demonstrate their comedic chops. AJ and Trish have shown excellent comedic timing in their sarcastic, biting heel promos. Summer, meanwhile, is made for screwball comedy, more than ready to start some goofball antics in the ring.

Acting credentials: AJ lent her voice to Scooby Doo! WrestleMania Mystery. Summer is set to star in The Marine 4. Trish headlined the action movie Bounty Hunters and will appear in the upcoming Gridlocked.

The Actions Heroes: Gail Kim, Lita & Naomi

The wrestling styles of these three women are decidedly different, but all are known for their penchant for taking risks. Putting their bodies on the line time and time again has more than prepared them to kick some ass outside of the ring.

Acting credentials: Gail starred as an assassin in Royal Kill. Lita made a guest appearance on Dark Angel.

The Frighteners: Havok, Mickie James & Winter

These women inhabit your nightmares, but never the same one. Havok is physically intimidating, short on words and patience. Mickie has excelled at playing an unhinged woman, a prime candidate for a Single White Female remake. Winter is unsettling in her own way, displaying a creepiness that you can't quite define, but definitely feel.

Acting credentials: Mickie appeared on an episode of Psych. Winter has made appearances in several movies and TV shows, including the upcoming Emergency: LA.
