This "Jurassic Park" Easter Egg In Westworld Is Totally Perfect

If you've been watching Westworld on HBO then you know there's a lot going on in this show.

Like, some human robots about to turn and kill us all because they've been trapped in the wild west on a time loop, kind of craziness.

And the show is based on the original 1973 movie, Westworld, written by Michael Crichton.

Crichton probably sounds damn familiar, because he also wrote the Jurassic Park novel and film, which is a treasure to us all.

Crichton's responsible for a whole lot of greatness, like the novels for Disclosure, Congo, and Prey, among many others.

And in Jurassic Park you likely remember this iconic scene where Hammond coaxes this little baby raptor out of her shell.

Hammond explains that he's present for every birth at the park, because it's a new life finding their way in.

And if you were paying close attention in Episode 5 of Westworld, you may have noticed something very similar happening...

Felix (the "butcher" slash man just trying to become a coder) is trying to bring this little bird back to life so he can return it to the park.

"COME ON, LITTLE ONE."

Crichton passed away in 2008, but this small and perfect nod to his (arguably) most iconic work was a really wonderful thing to see.
