Re: BuzzFeed Application - Fight Club: Top Ten Songs For Taylor, Kanye And Kim To Throw Down To

Kanye West hardly needs Kim Kardashian to fight his battles, but calling out Taylor Swift was the bitch slap that broke the internet. It's about to get real up in here.

    10. "Bad Reputation" - Joan Jett

The feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift dates back to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Kanye crashed Taylor's acceptance speech for best female video for "You Belong to Me," more or less saying Beyoncé deserved to win for "Single Ladies." Then, Kanye flipped off the audience as he was booed off stage.

    9. "Sorry" - Beyoncé

After the show, Kanye's wishy-washy attempts to apologize on social media only seemed to make matters worse. He did eventually admit to Jay Leno he was ashamed, only to turn around a few years later and say maybe he wasn't sorry at all, telling the New York Times, "I don't have one regret."

Kanye and Taylor publicly reconciled at the 2015 Grammys, and Taylor even presented him with MTV's Video Vanguard award a few months later. But then in February, Kanye called Taylor the b-word in the lyrics of his song "Famous" rapping, “I think that me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous."

    7. "Bad Blood" - Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar

Taylor said publicly Kanye's lyrics were misogynistic and even hinted that he was trying to take credit for her accomplishments. And just like that, the feud was back on!

Kim came to Kanye's defense on Instagram claiming Taylor pre-approved the lyrics. She also told GQ Magazine, "She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn't."

After the GQ interview, Swift responded with a statement asking Kim and Kanye to leave her alone, and her rep said she'd never heard the song, but spoke with Kanye about it in January. Kim responded by snapchatting a video of a call between Kanye and Taylor discussing the song which suggested Taylor knew more than she claimed.

    4. "Party (Up In Here)" - DMX

The video set off an internet firestorm of tweets and memes calling Taylor a liar and a snake. Suddenly the tables were turned and now Taylor was pegged the bad guy.

Taylor fought back by admitting that she and West spoke once about the song, but claims there was no mention of any planned name-calling. She posted a statement on Instagram stating, "Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me 'that bitch' in his song? It doesn't exist because it never happened."

    2. "Eye of the Tiger" - Survivor

Taylor went on in her statement to say, "Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination." Meanwhile, Kim is standing by her actions saying she was defending her man.

Surprisingly enough, the internet seems to be on Kim's side despite Taylor's statement. Can Taylor weather this storm? Maybe, but it won't be easy. Let's not forget Calvin Harris has also been putting Taylor on blast as well. Time will tell who will get the last word.
