Why I HATE Comcast

So at first I was all like Comcast isn't that bad because when I lived at home with my parents I never had to deal with them. I was able to watch my Bad Girls Club and Real World in peace. However, this all changed when I hit the very beginning stages of adulthood i.e. moving into my own college apartment.

wooooo me and my roommates can now get cable ourselves and there's no one to stop us!

And then our short lived honey moon phase was over.

And here, ladies and gentleman, is the nightmare of this week's Comcast experience.

At first they just missed an appointment

But they are humans and I am a human so I was sad but forgiving.

So I called, in my most serious adult voice, and asked to speak to a supervisor about the fiasco and make a new appointment

I was as serious as I could be to make sure they knew I meant business

It was a stern phone call

But in the end we had a new appointment and a message for someone to call us back.

However they missed our appointment yet again

And no supervisor ever called us back! It was a combination of sadness from my roommate and anger from me. I mean we have a voicemail from the night before confirming our appointment for the next day for pete's sake!

And it only gets worse from there...

They then claimed we never made an appointment, then acknowledged it, then made a new appointment for the same day, then never showed up, then claimed it was for tomorrow at an undiscussed time, and then refused to let us speak to a supervisor, and then in the end we now have an appointment for tomorrow. woooo that was a mouthful!

It has been almost one week since we have and service and Comcast makes me feel like all of these things. The moral of the story is, never trust anyone, especially Comcast.
