Promising review: "Mystical Fire Colorant is amazing. For a really fun experience, get some of these for your next camping trip. As if a campfire needs improvement... but this stuff is really neat. I'd say the adults love it even more than the kids. We only used one packet and the colors were so good — seems like they lasted at least 20 minutes. There was even color left in the ashes the next day. We will never go camping again without several packs of Mystical Fire on hand." —TeNe

This also comes in other pretty colors, but I am especially partial to this one because I bought it for my parents (their kitchen is entirely pink and one of my favorite places on Earth), and this was SO EASY to use — not to mention super safe! I'm a big weenie about fire (LOL, self-preservation) so I've always stuck to extended-arm gas lighters, but this is much better for the environment (plus cuter), so I feel a lot better about using it. You can read my full review of the Leejie electric lighter for more deets!

Promising review: "Works like a charm. I saw this on a TikTok. Knew immediately that I needed it. I love candles and this is so much better than a match or lighter. It’s kept a charge for months. I use it several times a month." —dwhite3012

    20. A cloud-shaped magnetic key holder for an absurdly cute storage option for keys that will prettttyyy much guarantee you never lose them again.

Promising review: "So, yes, TikTok made me buy this, but so far I really like it. It's obviously very adorable and offers a charming spot to keep my keys that works with my entryway. I'm really surprised by how strong the hold is for such a small object — I carry my car fob and a few keys and so far it's holding strong. I hung it with Command strips to avoid any potential damage to the wall and I will say make sure it's level as the hold is not so good on an angle (but that was from the original in-hand testing). Definitely recommend and for the price, I'm very tempted to get one for my at-work office." —D. Carter

    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

I recently started using one of these and WOWZA, it really helps you get extra mileage out of your shampoo. I have a whole lot of hair on my head so sometimes it's a struggle to feel like I've soaped up my whole scalp thoroughly, but this was a very effective way to spread out the suds and really get them to the roots. I was worried it might tangle in my hair, but it was totally fine on that front, too. I've noticed that my hair has been a little less greasy at the roots since I started using it a few weeks ago. And I'm echoing a ton of reviewers here when I say it just feels reeeeeally, really nice.

Promising review: "I’ve suffered from dry skin and a dry scalp ever since I turned 30. The only thing that helps me is exfoliating. I was initially concerned that the product would be too rough and damage my sensitive scalp or too soft and ineffective. However, this brush is perfect for me. It does not tangle my long hair, it is easy to use and just firm enough to get the job done. My scalp no longer itches and the icky buildup is gone. I can’t believe something so affordable has made such a difference in the health of my scalp. I’ve used expensive shampoos and conditioners to no end with barely a difference. I wish I discovered this product much sooner!" —AH

The bowl with salad in it

A fun fact about me is that I am a slob, and when I eat salad, I go to CLOWN TOWN on it. I recently purchased one of these bowls for my lunch salads and I could not love it more. The depth is very satisfying for tossing all my odds and ends into, I've *seriously* minimized the spills, and this is super duper easy to clean. Now if I could just stop myself from insufferably Instagramming all my lunches, I'd be set!!

Promising review: "Love them. Use them for salads and they work really well without spilling any salad off the plate. Also use for large fruit salads. I'm sure that spaghetti would also work. Definitely worth the price." —Enjoy Coffee

    23. A three-pack of collapsible lacy mesh plate covers for your outdoor picnics and porch hangs — these are an effective and chic way keep bugs (and curious pets 👀) off your grub.

Promising review: "I loved these! I did a couple of gatherings outside for my daughter’s birthday and these 'tents' really helped keep flies and other things away from the food. Now I’m using every time we are having wine and appetizers on the deck to protect the food. It’s pretty, easy to use, and very helpful. Easy to clean too, I just wipe off areas that have gotten in touch with food and it cleans pretty easily. It does get lifted off or fly away if it’s windy, so for those days I use a glass cake plate with lid, but I have only one of those, and the nets are really more convenient than glassware." —NF-Columbia

    26. Plus a tin of cocktail sugar or salt for the rims of your at-home cocktails that come in so many inventive flavors you might just call the Food Network to get your own bartending show.

A whiskey glass with a sugar rim
A container of citrus petals rim sugar
    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

I started putting this on my end-of-the-week whiskey drink (the pandemic made me go full Mad Men, who knew!!) and it is SO darn satisfying. I tried the citrus petals version, and it's got a light lemon, faint floral, and vaguely minty taste with its sweetness that just makes the whole experience a delight and a half. The container it comes in is actually quite wide, so what we did was pour lemon juice on the top half to prep the rim, and a bit of sugar in the bottom half to coat it. In other news, I am officially too fancy to exist.

Promising review: "Since COVID-19 I have become my own bartender. Taco Tuesdays and margaritas! The lime comes through so well with this salt. I use it for Bloody Marys as well. It is thick and chunky so it's a learning curve to get the right amount of salt on. Don't press down too hard if you don't like a lot of salt. I do like extra salt but my husband said it was a little much for him, so I have mastered just a light salt for him." —cobrajet427

Get it from Amazon for $9.88 (available in nine flavors).

    27. A cheerful animal-themed sink strainer you can get in all kinds of cute styles so you'll always have a buddy cheering you on when you're cleaning up the dishes.

A yellow sink strainer with a duck on it
pink version with a flamingo on it

Promising review: "This is an adorable addition to my sink. I love the metal ring around the outside so there is pink, silver, pink. It adds just a unique touch. The color is bright. It makes me happy looking at it. It catches scraps really well. I gave it three stars for easy to clean because it's as easy as I would expect it to clean. It does get dirty and it is a little tough to get all the grime out of it but no tougher than it would be to clean any other item just like this. Overall, if you're looking for something cute to put in your sink to brighten your day, I would say buy this!" —HaliPawz

A model cleaning a pan with a soapy avocado shaped sponge
sponges shaped like cut in half strawberries, avocados, oranges, and melons
    Amazon

Promising review: "I wanted nice sponges that could be used in a guest suite. Most people stay a week at the most, so I was not as concerned about durability as visual appeal. These sponges fit the bill perfectly. They are relatively sturdy, enough so that I typically use the sponge, after my guest leaves, to clean up the suite, and it holds up to that and then some. They are unique and cute, so they kick up the suite experience a notch. They are individually wrapped, so my guest knows that they are not getting a sponge someone else has used. And they don't have a rough scrubbing side, so I don't worry that my pans/pots will get scratched up." —Mad Hen

Promising review: "I’ve never done anything like this before ... but I like to try new things, and I’ve just recently moved and wanted to decorate my house with some handmade decor. This kit is a great value for the price! It came with the hoop, more than enough thread, and two needles! The printed pattern is very clear and easy to follow, and the little sheet of instructions on what stitch to use and how to do it is clear enough (and anything I don’t understand I just watch a tutorial on YouTube). I’m about three hours into the project already and I didn’t want to put it down last night. I was up until 2 a.m. stitching away! It’s fun, simple and it’s going to look very cute next to my collection of cacti!! Thank you for a great quality product, and for allowing me to add another hobby to my ever growing stack!" —Abby

    39. Wreck This Journal, a full color journal with prompts for you to write, paint, shred, and, in the words of Taylor Swift, "have a marvelous time ruining everything."

    Penguin Books

Some of the prompts include one to close the journal and scribble on the edges; another to cut out colors from a magazine and tape them all over the page; another is a "Stain Log," which you can use classify stains in your life, from red wine to nail polishes to food dyes. Basically, if you turn the page in this journal, odds are it's going to look *nothing* like it originally did by the time you're through.

    40. A set of reusable silicone straws with cleverly designed horizontal snap closures for easy cleanup, so you can go from guzzling your morning iced coffee to downing your afternoon peanut butter smoothie with ~ease~.

Promising review: "I never thought I’d be writing a review for straws, but here we are. These are FANTASTIC. I try to be as eco-friendly as possible but was ready to give up. I’ve tried metal straws, but they are tough to clean and I don’t love metal against my teeth. I’ve tried other reusable plastic and silicone options but they don’t work for thicker drinks like smoothies. These actually address all of my issues. I’ve used them for thick smoothies, that I drink daily, and just for other everyday drinks like water. They couldn’t be easier to snap open and clean, dry, then easily snap back into shape to use again." —M. Alexandria

A set of exfoliating gloves for the bath or shower you can use to ~deep clean~ all over your body, letting you get extra specific about the exfoliation pressure because you're using your own hands to do it. These also come in three different textures — light, moderate, and heavy — so you can get one to best match your skin sensitivity.

Promising review: "This is one of my favorite purchases. Not gonna lie, TikTok make me buy this. So I buy it and I’m still a little nervous because it’s literally a glove. But nah, I used it with liquid body soap and I’ve never felt so clean in my whole life. I got out of the shower feeling like a freshly birthed baby. My skin had never felt so clean and I questioned how I went 32 years without this." —Brittney

Tattoorary is an Etsy shop established in 2014 and based in the Netherlands that specializes in temporary tattoos, offering a large range of sizes, colors, and designs. Each tattoo lasts from two days to a week.

I am *obsessed* with these temporary tattoos — I waited for ages to get them, and I wish I'd done it much sooner, because I've had such a blast mixing and matching them every week this summer as a fun quarantine distraction! They transfer beautifully with warm water and look like legitimate tattoos (my neighbor truly thought I'd gotten some great ink), and are so easy and gentle to remove with a light scrub in the shower.

Get them from Tattoorary on Etsy: the vintage floral tattoo for $8, and the little birds tattoo for $3.

A tiny purple beauty and the beast book
The book open to a page with belle on it

Promising review: "I love this book for myself, I love tiny stuff so that's why I bought this. It comes with a purple case cover to place the book inside of it or keep it out of it whichever you prefer. I tried to take the photos the best way but it's really hard since it's really small, it's palm size. The photos I provided is the best I can show in what's inside. If you are a fan of Beauty & The Beast then get it. It also has a little white bookmark that's a string to hold your place in the book if you ever read it." —Safire Montana
