A man named Ibrahim from Saudi Arabia was left paralyzed in a hospital after a tragic car accident.
My name is Ibrahim, and I am hospitalized at King Khalid Hospital. I had a car accident which left me paralyzed and I have no one to visit me. My father and my brothers have ignored me all this time. I also have another wish. I wish someone could help me get treated for a bone marrow transplant in Germany.
Someone started the hashtag #زيارة_ابراهيم which translates as #VisitIbrahim and it went viral. It was retweeted over 200,000 times in one day and became the most retweeted tweet of Saudi's Twitter history.
And this was the result...
He was literally flooded with visitors
And food
Plenty of flowers
Even pizza!
Looks like Ibrahim isn't so lonely anymore.
