    1. Rejection sucks, and that won't ever change.

    I was rejected from TWENTY TWO organizations on campus. It really sucked, and I thought I was a letdown to all of the people back home. Through it all, you just have to find yourself

    2. One bad grade will not kill you.

    Trust me on this one. As long as you keep up with your class, and make an effort, you will be okay. Remember, Cs get degrees!

    3. If people are bad friends, be like Elsa and Let THEM GO!

    Seriously, if you are the only one putting forth any effort, or they treat you like crap, DROP THEM. It's just that simple

    4. Dining hall food sucks.

    5. You will have friends that you meet in the first week that you will never talk to again.

    6. Make an effort to get to know your professors.

    It will save your grade, and it will make you look like a serious student. (Even if you're not one.)

    7. Your RA will either be your best friend or mortal enemy.

    Random inspections and not being too friendly put my RA in the latter category. But a lot of my friends had amazing RAs, so it really just depends on the person.

    8. You and your roommate may not be best friends, and that is totally okay.

    My roommate and I were not friends, but we weren't enemies, either. Let's just say that we had our differences, and leave it at that. (But I still moved out.)

    9. Getting involved can be rough.

    Putting yourself out there for the first time ever is a daunting task. Some things may work out better than others. But kudos to those who do make the effort.

    10. Your friends from high school will become acquaintances. Those who atually do stick around, keep them.

    The friends who actually make an effort to see you are people that you will hopefully have for the rest of your life. Hold on to them.

    11. Greek like is not for everyone.
