The trailer for the new Netflix comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, shows Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) being rescued from the hole she has lived in for 15 years as part of a cult.
And she's very excited to see the empty field above her Indiana "home" is still an empty field.
Kimmy and the other former captives are taken to New York City. And Kimmy decides it's the perfect place to rebuild her life.
She finds a spare room* in an apartment with a roommate (Tituss Burgess).
And instead of eating canned beans for dinner, like she was forced to do for so many years...
...she's revamped her diet.
She's also found a job as a nanny for the son of a very rich woman (Jane Krakowski) who lives on the Upper East Side.
Kimmy is really just trying to have an ordinary life, but she's having trouble breaking some old habits.

And she's not totally in tune with social cues, like when someone catcalls her.
