Michael Cera Confirmed He Welcomed His First Child Six Months Ago After Amy Schumer Accidentally Broke The News

    "He's just a little 6-month-old baby."

You're probably familiar with Michael CeraMichael Cera the actor, at least — who starred in a bunch of classic early-aughts comedies that many of us still remember today. Superbad, Juno, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World are just a few.

It's likely that you're less knowledgeable about Michael behind the scenes, since he's famously private about matters related to his personal life. We have hardly any information about his marriage to his wife, Nadine, for example, even though they reportedly wed in 2018.

Well, much like his relationship, it turns out Michael really did hide his and Nadine's new baby from fans and the press. Shielding little ones from the public eye isn't necessarily a rare choice for celebrities, except Michael managed to do it for half of a whole year.

In recent comments to Extra, Michael confirmed the news Amy Schumer accidentally broke during a joint interview with Entertainment Tonight several days ago. While promoting their Hulu series Life & Beth, Amy shared lessons she's learned from parenthood before adding: "Michael has a baby too ... is that public knowledge?"

It wasn't. But since Amy spilled the beans, Michael has shared a couple of tiny details about his own experience with first-time fatherhood. "He's just a little 6-month-old baby," Michael said of his son.

The actor also shared his thoughts on Amy's HBO Max documentary, Expecting Amy, which centered around health challenges she faced while she was pregnant. "I was just shocked to watch it," Michael recalled.

Belated congrats to Michael on becoming a dad!
