Julia Fox Addressed Comparisons To Kim Kardashian And Said It's "Unfortunate" That Women "Are Always Being Pitted Against Each Other"

"We've worn similar looks...I thought it was cool that she had worn it."

Fans and media outlets have now spent over a month examining, discussing, and, in some cases, questioning certain aspects of Julia Fox and Kanye West's relationship.

The couple, who first started dating around New Year's Eve, are subjected to scrutiny fairly often. And as those who've kept up with Julia and Ye's relatively newfound romance already know, the Uncut Gems star tends to not back down from the criticism.

After dismissing claims that she's dating Ye for "clout" and denying suggestions that she co-opted parts of his past relationship with Kim Kardashian, Julia has addressed those accusations more directly in a new interview.

During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast today, Julia responded specifically to folks online who say she's taken to copying Kim's style. While the actor noted that both she and Kim were influenced aesthetically by Ye, Julia also shared some valuable thoughts on gossip culture and how it fabricates rivalries between women or at least unnecessarily places them at odds with each other.

"We've worn some similar looks," Julia said of the comparisons between Kim's fashion and her own. "I thought it was cool that she had worn it. It is unfortunate, because women are always being pitted against each other."

In addition to sharing whether she and Ye have labeled their relationship privately — they've apparently called each other "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" before, but aren't "really planning for the future" — Julia further confirmed that suspicions she's with him for fame or money are rooted in "misconception."

She also referenced his dynamic with Kim, as the former partners' public arguments, mostly over co-parenting, continue to make headlines amid their divorce. "There are 10 years of history that they have prior," Julia said. "I don't want to ever step out of line and speak on something that I have no place speaking on."

"I am sure there's still some sort of residual feelings," she continued. "It's normal, it's human. But I also know that he's with me now, and that's what matters."
