Amy — who co-hosted the Academy Awards alongside Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes — reflected on the startling moment in a lengthy message posted to Instagram last night.

"I think we can all agree that the best way to unpack what happened is to stream my series @lifeandbethhulu and see me on tour this fall," the comedian wrote first, referencing her Hulu show Life & Beth. But Amy went on to note how, "for real," she's "still triggered and traumatized."

Her post comes amid ongoing discussions about Will's viral altercation with Chris at Sunday's ceremony. Before taking home his first Oscar — for Best Actor in a Leading Role — the King Richard star smacked Chris across the face and later shouted at him to "keep my wife's name out your fucking mouth" while he announced Questlove's award.

Their confrontation took place in response to Chris' "joke" about Jada Pinkett Smith's bald head, which she said several months ago was a choice prompted by hair loss that results from alopecia.

Will publicly apologized to Chris on Monday, describing his behavior as "unacceptable and inexcusable" and acknowledging that "violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive" in a social media statement.

Well, Amy has since voiced her support for Chris, and called the slap "disturbing."

"I love my friend @chrisrock and believe he handled it like a pro," she said. "Stayed up there and gave an Oscar to his friend @questlove, and the whole thing was so disturbing. So much pain in @willsmith."

"Anyway, I'm still in shock and stunned and sad. I'm proud of myself and my cohosts," Amy continued. "But yeah. Waiting for this sickening feeling to go away from what we all witnessed."
