10 Reasons To Go To Rwanda When You're In College

1.Rwanda is the number 3 cleanest country in Africa!

You may think it's all dirt and huts but Rwanda is the most up and coming city in Africa so you don't have to worry about roughing it for vacation.

2.The food is normal!!!

In Rwanda they eat pretty healthy, lots of fruits and vegetables, but don't worry in the city, they'll still hook you up with your Starbucks fix

3. GORILLAS

Rwanda has a massive population of gorillas and you can take tours (safely) through the forest to see how they live

4. Mission Trips are still a thing

If it is your passion to serve, then Rwanda still has plenty of places rebuilding and looking for kind college kids to help.

5. The nightlife is AMAZING

So we've all been to parties, but the city nightlife in Rwanda rivals even the best colleges, with the lights, and the festive music, and the vibrant people.

6. The weather is nice year round.

The temperatures in Rwanda stay at about 75 degrees all the time, which make for a very comfortable vacation!

7. There's actually WIFI!!!!

Since Rwanda is moving toward a modern era, they've started making wifi available in nearly the whole country, which is a huge step. Even phones are usable with a small fee. What time to be alive!

8. The culture is soo rich

Rwandans are so proud of their culture and who they are they are constantly holding festivals and inviting tourists to join in their music and representational dancing.

9. The people of Rwanda.

Honestly there are no sweeter souls than those of Rwandans. The adults are polite and treat us college kids like adults, the children are adorable and the college kids are just like you and me, cramming for finals, singing to Beyonce with our friends, going out on the weekends, drinking way too much coffee, and leaving our mark on the world. It's fun to vacation and be comfortable knowing the people are just like you.

10. YOLO.

Okay I know I said this wasn't a reason, but we're in college! Take a risk, jump a plane and head to this beautiful country. Whether it be for a vacation alone, for service, spring break, or a family, trip, come see how remarkable Rwanda truly is!
