Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, have announced that their eldest son, Noah, 3, has cancer.
Bublé announced the news via a status update on Facebook, revealing that the pair are "devastated."
He explained that both he and Lopilato have put their work on hold in order to "devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well."
Bublé ended the post by saying that with the "support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing."
Argentine publication, La Nacion, reported that Noah was diagnosed after visiting doctors with a suspected case of mumps.
Just last month, Bublé gave an interview in which he described fatherhood as the best thing that has ever happened to him – and that his only regret was not having children sooner.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Bublé said:
I love them more than I'll ever love anything, or anyone in the whole universe. I think it gave me perspective on life that I think I very badly needed. It's hard to be able to quantify that level of love. I didn't even know that there was that color in the spectrum. I didn't know that level of love existed. But it makes me better at everything. It allows me to pull more emotion and be more honest and to be in the moment. The only regret that I have in my life is that I took this long to have kids, because I had no idea the perspective it would give me. I had no idea how much I would love being a dad.
