It seems that barely a week goes by without Ariel Winter having to stand up to body-shamers.
In fact, just a couple of weeks ago, Ariel had to deny the accusation that she'd used illegal drugs to lose weight, explaining that her weight loss was actually due to a change in anti-depressant medication.
And because this is 2019 and we can't have nice things, the body-shaming has kicked off again. This time it was in response to this photo that Ariel shared on Instagram to mark her BFF's birthday.
It didn't take long before people hopped in the comments to say she looked different and accused Ariel of having undergone plastic surgery.
And one commenter said that they were simply warning both Ariel and her fans against plastic surgery.
At this point, Ariel herself jumped in to respond to the comments, writing: "I appreciate you wanting to help girls love themselves the way they are, but you are also kind of cutting someone (me) down."
"I also didn't get plastic surgery. That is also not being supportive of women if you're just assuming something about the way they look."
