Illustrator Jen Oaks said "I didn't see any fat pin-up art out there that I liked, so I drew what I thought was hot".
You can see that her work is inspired by 70's fashion icons like Cher, Jane Fonda, and Pam Grier.
She's gotten very positive reactions on the diversity of her drawings featured in the calendar.
She has no intentions to stop empowering women of all sizes and races in her art.
She has been busy throughout the holidays printing enough to meet insanely encouraging demands.
After the holidays, Oaks plans to make individual prints and expand the collection.
The graphic designer is 38 and currently lives in Berkeley, California, with her husband.
She got her inspiration from an obsession with 70's Playboys and Russ Meyer films.
She is quoted as saying that "a few dudes at shows who acted like they weren't into thick girls... ended up buying two calendars".
