Thousands of people have seen this girl during the Formation World Tour concerts. The crowd laughs in unison every time her video is played after Beyoncé says her famous "world stop" line. However, the majority of these people do not know who she is. I had the pleasure of being able to interview one of Beyoncé's biggest fans.
Q: What's your name and where are you from?
TO: My name is Tiffany Owens a.k.a Beyonce's number one fan and I am from Baltimore, Maryland.
Q: What was your initial reaction when you first saw your video was included in the Formation World Tour?
TO: I was just getting home from the market rushing into the house to catch Empire. However, when I got on Twitter nobody was watching Empire! Everyone was watching the first concert of the Formation World Tour! It's what the Beyhive does for the first concert. I found a live stream and had my Ipad hooked up to the television. The next thing I knew she said world stop and I appeared behind her on the screen. I instantly LOST IT! My best friend and I were screaming, crying, and jumping. I literally had to take a moment to sit and breathe because I felt like I was going to have a heart attack.
Q: How did you find out your video was going to be featured in the tour?
TO: Beyonce's people contacted me via social media and emailed three weeks before the first show. It's Beyoncé, so of course everything was confidential. But its like my best friend said she "knew I was going to be in it". It feels just like your birthday. Even though you know its coming you still don't know what gifts you are getting. I didn't know which part of my video would be played or when. All I knew was that it would be included. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this!
Q: When did you film the video?
TO: I actually filmed this video on December 13, 2014. I had just finished doing a YouTube video for the scandal season finale. I was very upset because I am a big scandal fan and I didn't want it to go on that long winter break hiatus. I was checking Twitter and I saw Beyoncé dropped an album! I went to Itunes and almost fainted. I didn't look at the price I just clicked buy and ran to my camera! The album was downloading while I recorded my reaction.
Q: I know you are a huge Kerry Washington fan. Do you think she will see it? If so how would you react?
TO: Kerry Washington is my favorite actress. I have spent years on Twitter trying to get a tweet from her. I love, love, love, love her. I know she is a big Beyoncé and Jay Z fan as well. I feel that more than likely she will be at the concert. I really hope she sees my shirt and hears me talk about Scandal. If she mentions it on Twitter or any other social media I will literally die. That would mean both of my favorite people know that I exist. *faints*
Q: Can you believe millions of people will see your 'I love Olivia Pope' shirt behind Beyoncé as she performs?
TO: Listen... I can't even watch that video all the way through! Seeing Beyoncé in front of me, jesus I get lightheaded every time. I can't even get over that millions of people see me in an 'I LOVE OLIVIA POPE' shirt crying about Beyoncé. As well as the fact that those millions of people may include some of my favorite celebs! I love the people from Shondaland and they might see it! I know Ellen Pompeo and Jesse Williams are just a few that I have seen actually attend her shows. If this gets back to Shonda I will be a mess. I just feel so blessed and grateful.
Q: Have you ever seen Beyoncé live?
TO: I have attended every Beyoncé concert. Except, Revel when she was in Atlantic City. I am still mad I had to miss that one. I recently saw her at Made In America in Philly over the Summer and let me tell you, there is no concert like a Beyoncé concert.
Q: Are you planning to attend or have attended the tour?
TO: I am! I actually will be attending the show in Hershey, PA with a group of friends. But, don't be surprised if you see me at more than one show this year!
