Chris Noth Denied Reports He Felt “Iced Out” By Sarah Jessica Parker And His Former “Sex And The City” Costars After Multiple Women Accused Him Of Sexual Assault

Over the course of a week in December 2021, five women spoke out to accuse the former Sex and the City actor of sexual assault and misconduct.

Sex and the City actor Chris Noth has responded to reports that he felt “iced out” by his former costars after being accused of sexual assault by multiple women in 2021.

Noth — who played Mr. Big/John James Preston in all six seasons of the original HBO show and the subsequent movies — briefly reprised his role in December 2021 for the SATC revival, And Just Like That.

He reunited with his costars — namely, his onscreen wife, Sarah Jessica Parker — but the return was short lived after Big was killed off in Episode 1 of the first series.

Then, just one week after the first episode aired on Dec. 16, Noth was accused of sexual misconduct by two women.

In an article published by the Hollywood Reporter, the two women — who both spoke under pseudonyms, Zoe and Lily — claimed that Noth sexually assaulted them on separate occasions in 2004 and 2015.

He quickly denied the allegations in a statement provided to the same outlet, calling the claims “categorically false.”

“These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual,” Noth said at the time.

On Dec. 18, a third person came forward with accusations against the actor. A woman — who spoke under the pseudonym Ava — alleged to the Daily Beast that Noth sexually assaulted her in 2010, when he was 55 and she was 18.

Five days later on Dec. 23, singer-songwriter Lisa Gentile claimed she was “sexually victimized” and “sexually abused” by him in 2002. And the same day, an actor named Heather Kristin became the fifth person to level accusations against the actor, recalling alleged “toxic” and “disgusting” behavior she experienced while working with him on four seasons of SATC.

Despite his denial, the fallout from the claims was swift. Within days, a Peloton advert he starred in was taken down, he was dropped from The Equalizer, and was also let go from his talent agency.

Variety later confirmed that Noth was edited out of the And Just Like That season finale, during which his character had been set to make a cameo in a fantasy sequence.

At the time, Noth’s former costars spoke out in support of the women in a joint statement.

“We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth,” Sarah Jessica, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon said on social media. “We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”

Having played onscreen love interests for more than a decade, Noth and Sarah Jessica became close friends. In May 2022, she told the Hollywood Reporter that she hadn’t spoken to him since the allegations surfaced.

Which brings us to now, and the SATC stars are back in the limelight with the release of And Just Like That’s second season, which premiered on Max on June 22.

Being that his character died, there was never any expectation that Noth would be involved in the second season. However, that didn’t stop the actor from making headlines on June 23 when Radar Online published reports that he felt “iced out” by his former colleagues.

“He’s not invited to their parties. He doesn’t get greeting cards or happy birthday texts,” an insider claimed of Noth’s relationship with Sarah Jessica, Cynthia, and Kristin. “He wonders why SJP and her troupe continue to leave him out in the cold.”

The source alleged that Noth felt “slighted” by the trio, and that they owe him an apology for the “rude behavior” he has endured.

The same day, Noth took to Instagram to slam the claims, describing them as “absolute nonsense.”

“I usually don’t respond to this kind of thing. And I do know that people like drama and gossip but this article… is absolute nonsense,” he wrote alongside a screenshot of Page Six’s report. “Just thought you’d like to know.”

Currently, Sarah Jessica, Cynthia, and Kristin have not addressed the reports, but we’ll let you know if they do.
