We all love a good celebration. Whether it's a hen party, work do or a 60th birthday, you can guarantee these 15 things will happen every time.

1. Arriving Fashionably Late

There's always one that rocks up at least half an hour late, then proceeds to reel off a list of excuses that everyone knows are a lie. No Samantha, you did not get stuck in bad traffic - we've all seen your hour long selfie session on Snapchat. Just own it.

2. Awkward Hellos

That distant aunt whose name you can never remember, the friend of a friend that you had a drunken fumble with one time, some girl you hate but have to play it cool with for the sake of the group...there's certain to be an awkward hello with someone.
