34 Things You'll Be So Glad You Bought For Your Teeny Tiny Bathroom

Put every square inch of your tiny bathroom to good use.

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. A shower curtain with mesh storage pockets that'll evenly distribute the in-shower storage sitch so you have the freedom to sing with a full range of motion and emotions.

    Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

Yes, this is my shower curtain! I upgraded from a corner tension rod caddy and never want to go back. The mesh pockets drain water so your liner won't get all icky. And they make it easy to tell the difference between the minimalist packaging for your face wash and shave cream when it's way too early in the morning. Read my ~full review~ to learn more about why I'm in love with an object that can't love me back.

Get it from Amazon for $15.

    2. And easy-glide shower curtain hooks to make switching out your liner almost too easy.

    Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

Surprise! I own these too! I swore off shower curtain rings awhile back after struggling during shower liner swaps. The double hooks on these mean you can wash your fabric shower curtain without disturbing your liner. Kinda groundbreaking! Welcome to my Ted Talk.

Get a 12-pack from Amazon for $6.07 (available in five finishes).

    3. A fancy-ass 2-in-1 shower head to install without tools!!!

Let me tell you, I installed a very similar shower head in my old apartment and it was life-changing for someone (like me!) who washes their hair twice a week, tops. Oh, and this one has 24 functions. And I'm not the only person who stans an easy-install shower head. It has 4,600+ 5-star reviews on Amazon!

Promising review: "Anyone who has ever showered here comments on what a great shower I have. It really is a little slice of luxury every day for less than $25. You wont find a better model in that price range." —2centsdepartment

Get it from Amazon for $24.99.

    4. And while we're on the subject of spraying water, a bidet so you'll spend sooo much less storage space and money on toilet paper. And, of course, you'll feel cleaner!

We tested out the best toilet paper on BuzzFeed Reviews. (Yes, really!) Instead of suggesting you buy the v expensive toilet paper Beyoncé allegedly uses for the highest price point, we recommend investing in a bidet! And this bidet was our pick.

Get it from Amazon for $34.50 (available in two colors).

    5. A Tubshroom in case your shower is so tiny that when there are three strands of hair in your drain and you blink, all of a sudden water's up to your ankles.,

Also, it's not a great idea to pour chemical drain de-cloggers down old pipes! I use one of these (and so do about 10 other people on the BuzzFeed shopping team) and it's just about the best thing you can buy for your bathroom.

Promising review: "I had serious doubts from looking at it but my photos display hair caught in my first week of use. It is easy to clean and the hair and muck does not stick to the silicone like it did to my prior wire mesh basket. This product also comes completely clean. Mitzy, in photo, is no longer forced to look at trapped hair when drinking at her favorite watering hole. See picture, it is designed to sit 1/2 inch out of the drain." —Mitzy

Get it from Amazon for $12.99+ (available in six colors).

    6. Poo-Pourri to spray in the toilet bowl before you go because if you have a small bathroom, chances are the smells travel fast to the rest of your place.

Trust me, once you use this you'll never be able to live without it. I use this scent and it is EFFECTIVE. Also, a little goes a loooooong way.

Get a 1.4 oz bottle and 16 oz. refill from Amazon for $34.95 (available in three scents). Or give a smaller bottle a go before you dive into the refill pack (though I suggest diving in anyway).

    7. An incredibly strong candle you could seriously light for five minutes and then blow out because it's that fragrant.

And it's made of soy, which burns slower than regular wax candles. I'm borderline obsessed with these candles and bring them up in completely unrelated convos. Check out my full review that was written when I lived with an adorably slobbery English bullie name Cleo. Though now Cleo and I are merely friends and no longer roommates, I burn these candles to cover up smells like roasting Brussels sprouts and, well, just normal bathroom smells.

Get it from Amazon for $21.95 (available in 23 scents).

    8. A tiny trash can with a lid, foot petal, and removable inner bucket so you won't stink up that tiny room with stuff you can't flush down the toilet.

Maybe your septic system doesn't work so well with flushing tampons down the toilet. I have a v similar trash can and I'm wondering why the hell it took me so long to buy one like it. And don't worry, those plastic bags from the grocery store are going to work *so well* as trash bin liners in this!

Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in three finishes).

    9. Medicine cabinet organizers that'll buy you a lil' more space for essentials like bandages, cotton swabs, nose spray, and other things you use on the reg.

Promising review: "This fits perfectly on the bottom of my medicine cabinet. It is very sturdy plastic with a great design. I can't believe how many jars, tubes, etc., it has managed to corral. Everything looks so neat! If they make a smaller one for upper cabinet shelves, I'm buying it. Wonderful little product!" —Alex

Get them from Amazon for $7.99+ each (available in four styles).

    10. A cosmetics tower fit for vertical or horizontal storage — it won't take up much room, either way.

Get it from Amazon for $20.99+ (available in three configurations).

And if you can spare more counter space, check out a rotating lippie organizer or cosmetics carousel.

    11. An expandable under-sink organizer — it won't be pretty, but it'll finally put everything where you can get to it!

Promising review: "I'm so glad I bought this. I have a 24" vanity in my bathroom and this fit perfectly. I have it extended to about 23" and it holds sturdy, though I can see if you were to extend it to its full length it gets weak in the middle. I liked it so much that I ordered another one for the kitchen. I got some clear bins to help organize bottles and other goodies I keep in the bath." —Marlene R.

Get it from Amazon for $20.87 (available in two finishes).

    12. Or if your vanity is even SMALLER than 24" (mine is), stackable shelves can give you some sturdy storage flexibility.

I have these shelves under my sink, except they're not stacked. Instead, there's one on either side of my sink pipes. I probably have 10 bottles of dry shampoo stored on top of one, so they hold up nicely!

Get them from Amazon for $19.80.

    13. A smart funnel will help you get the last inch of shampoo from your old bottle into your new bottle so you don't look like someone who collects shampoo bottles.

You don't want people to see five bottles of almost-empty shampoo in your bathroom. It's alarming!

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

    14. An outlet shelf to keep your electric toothbrush, electric razor, and any other motorized essentials right where you need them.

Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in three colors).

    15. A laundry hamper you can hang on the back of your door so you stop accidentally stepping on dirty underwear.

Get it from Amazon for $19.96. And check out a similar solid color hamper.

    16. An over-the-door organizer for hanging up towels, robes, and more. It'll look so nice it'll also function as decor!

Get it from Amazon for $20.

    17. Or an over-the-door towel holder in case you don't already have a towel rack and can't spare the precious wall space.

Get it from Amazon for $16.64+ (available in two finishes).

    18. A tiny, minimalist toothbrush holder people will think you shelled out big bucks for at an art museum gift shop. (Or get the cat one!)

Get two from Amazon for $9.99 (available in 12 styles).

    19. Or a multi-tasking holder to corral some shower must-haves.

Get it from Amazon for $10.95+ (also available in black).

    20. An adorable bath mat that'll make a v cute, useful addition to your cold tile floor.

Get it from Amazon for $21.88+ (available in three colors).

    21. Or a more *direct* message for an adult household.

    Urban Outfitters

Get it from Urban Outfitters for $34 (also available in white). And check out the matching shower curtain.

    22. A heat-resistant mat so you can transform nearly any surface (like the back of your toilet) into a spot to rest your heated hair tools. AND it rolls up as a travel tool holder.

Even if you have a porcelain toilet tank lid that's actually heat-resistant, it's still too slippery of a spot to safely rest your flat iron — I can speak from experience.

Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (also available in gray).

    23. A cabinet hair tools holder or over-the-tank holder that'll help you handle your ~mane~ essentials.

Get them from Amazon: over-the-door holder for $9+ (two finishes) or over-the-tank holder for $8.36+ (two finishes)

    24. A toilet paper holder with a lil' shelf for your phone because tbh toilet time is the most useful time for swiping on dating apps or getting around to medium-priority work emails.

Get it from Amazon for $11.99+ (available in three varieties).

    25. Or a toilet paper holder that'll stretch out your use of vertical storage space.

It'll look cute and help out around the house, aka this'll be the perfect pet.

Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in five colors).

    26. A bamboo storage tray ready to hold onto reading materials, washcloths, rolls of toilet paper, whatever!

Get it from Amazon for $12.99.

    27. A fancy glass shelf can help compensate for your lack of counter space.

Get it from Amazon for $7.47.

    28. A magnetic strip to make your single tiny drawer in your vanity work *even* harder.

Get it from Amazon for $12.99.

    29. Window film because curtains can hog valuable visual and physical space.

    Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

Yep, this is my bathroom again! I took this pic while standing inside my shower, if that helps you imagine the small footprint of the room. Applying window film requires some patience but it's well worth the trouble because you get lots of privacy and all the natural light!

Get a 23.6" x 78.7" roll from Amazon for $16.70 (also available in a larger size).

    30. A corner shelf that'll fit nicely in, well, a corner. Or you can tuck one on each side of a pedestal sink to hide unsightly pipes and give a place to park your toiletries.

Get them from IKEA for $39.99 each.

    31. LED votives you can actually submerge in water, so it'll be NBD if you accidentally knock one into the bath with you while you're trying to create some ambience.

Each candle runs on two CR2032 batteries (included) for up to 60 hours. That's a lot of bubble baths!

    Get a 24-pack from Amazon for $16.99.

    32. A *flexible* waterproof vibrator for bending to all your whims and needs. So uh, maybe your bubble bath will be that much longer?

It has a soft, flexible body and a powerful motor with five patterns or the option to choose your own intensity. Options are great!

Get it from Dame for $95 (also available in mint).

If you're into a waterproof wand, you can grab one from Amazon for $29.95.
