Recently, we asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to tell us something that happened on a date that made them want to leave, and they really came through! Here are some of the most bizarre things you said made you dip.
1. "He told me that when he is old, but before being physically incapable, he wants to throw his body off a cliff into the sea and let it be eaten by all the fish."
2. "We were chatting with some friends of his who he introduced me to before the date. He put his hand on my bicep to pull me to the side and said; 'You're talking too much.' Sir."
3. "We connected, decided to meet for dinner and when he showed up, he smiled at me and HE HAD NO TEETH."
4. "He kept looking at his phone and looking around the restaurant, super on edge. Alarm bells in my head went off. I went to the bathroom and Googled his name and age and our city. The first result was an article where he was accused of robbing a restaurant at gunpoint about six months prior."
5. "Within five minutes of conversation I was plotting my escape. He showed up drunk and high (obviously slurring and bragging about it). Then he proceeded to talk about how crappy Americans are and how our country sucked.”"

So I'm sat there awkwardly because it had turned into a boy's night when it was supposed to be a date."
7. "I went on a date with a guy from Hinge and the alarms started to sound when he walked into the restaurant and was a foot shorter than he had claimed to be."
8. "There's a time and a place for cocaine and it ain't a coffee shop on a Wednesday afternoon!"
9. "Before the end of the first drink he mentioned that later that night he was planning on going to an orgy, and asked if I wanted to go with."
10. “He called me by a childish pet name, not my actual name, during the whole date.”
11. "Went out with a guy for second date and we decided to go to a steak restaurant. He ordered his rare and then complained to the waiter that it was uncooked and bloody.”
