Baptist Retreat Center Ends 28-year Relationship With ONA Florida UCC Church

This is so sad and infuriating. My home church, UCG, a wonderful, loving, welcoming (I'm Jewish and we have several multifaith and buddhist families) congregation that is Open and Affirming, has been kicked out of our annual retreat space because the Baptist retreat center apparently "just" figured out that we're ONA and, in their words "promote homosexuality." UCG has been Open and Affirming for more than 20 years and going to this retreat center for almost 30. As a congregation, we have been asked not not write letters to the retreat center or to post inflammatory comments on facebook, so I'm saving my angry words and just spreading the article around to anyone who wants to read it.
