Katherine Heigl Doesn't Want Your Nomination

Just a year after winning an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress on Grey's Anatomy, the TV-cum-movie star has publicly excused herself from this year's possible list of nominees due to her character's lackluster material.

Naturally, her move is being attacked more than lauded, but at least this gives a better chance to the ladies of Battlestar Galactica. ...Oh wait, the Academy doesn't honor good shows.
