Lady Gaga Had The Classiest Response After She Was Body-Shamed At The Super Bowl

"Be you, and be relentlessly you. That's the stuff of champions."

In case you (somehow) missed it, Lady Gaga performed the halftime show at the Super Bowl on Sunday, and – spoiler alert – she slayed.

I think we can all agree that she looked and sounded amazing, and delivered an all-round stellar performance.

While most totally loved the show, a few peoplebody-shamed Gaga on Twitter, calling her "chubby" and telling her to "cover that stomach back up".

And, of course, Gaga's Little Monsters immediately jumped to her defence.

Shoutout to lady gaga's stomach roll for showing girls that you don't need to have a perfect body to absolutely kill it πŸ’…πŸ»βœ¨

But now Gaga herself has responded to the critics, and she did it – of course – in the classiest way possible: with a powerful message to her fans.

"I heard my body is a topic of conversation," she wrote, "so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too."

Of course, people are totally loving her message.

And thanked her for being such a great role model.

    Keep killing it, Gaga! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
