Emma Roberts Opened Up About Her Cravings After Revealing She Blocked Her Mom On Instagram For Leaking Her Pregnancy News

"Some days you wanna crawl out of your skin, but other days you feel really good and really grateful."

In case you missed the good news, Emma Roberts is pregnant!

The 29-year-old announced she's expecting a boy with her partner Garrett Hedlund in an adorable Instagram post back in August.

"Me...and my two favorite guys," Emma wrote in the caption.

Emma has been sharing her pregnancy journey with her followers ever since — even if the initial announcement was surrounded by a little drama.

During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this month, Emma revealed she'd had a fight with her mom after she accidentally confirmed Emma's pregnancy to the world on Instagram.

"When I said to her, 'Mom, you revealed my pregnancy,' she goes, 'Emma, you announced it,'" Emma explained. "I said, 'No, I didn't. That was a tabloid.' She's like, 'Oh, that wasn't clear.'"

According to Emma, the fight ended with her blocking her mom on Instagram, even if it was only for a short time.

"She texted me at 2 a.m., 'Queen, did you block me? Question mark. Sad face.' I was like, 'Yes, I did block you,'" Emma said. "Then I unblocked her. It's been an Instagram war with my mother that I never saw coming. A good story to tell the baby."

Well, in a new interview with Glamour, Emma opened up a little bit more about her pregnancy, admitting it's been a time of "introspection" for her.

"It's been really an interesting time in the world to be pregnant right now," Emma said, referencing her time in quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"It's definitely caused a lot of introspection," she went on, "but I think it's been amazing to really sit with myself and really turn inward in a way I never have before and be still."

"I feel really grateful to have gotten to do that," Emma added. "To not just be running from one appointment to the next or one job to the next."

"I've really had to be present with myself," Emma went on. "Some days you wanna crawl out of your skin, but other days you feel really good and really grateful."

The American Horror Story actor also shared a few of her cravings, admitting she "can't get enough" of cupcakes and ice cream.

"I love cupcakes in general, but for some reason Sprinkles during my pregnancy, during the pandemic," Emma revealed. "I can't enough of them."

"Salt & Straw ice cream too. They have a Halloween flavour called The Great Candycopia, which... It's been a problem how much I've been eating it," she added.
