Ed Sheeran Has Finally Responded To The Rumours He's Quitting Music

That rumour is – to put it simply – "bollocks".

This is Ed Sheeran. If you've listened to a radio or heard any music whatsoever in the last five-ish years, you probably know him.

Ed is currently touring the world with his third album, ÷. He seems to be enjoying himself very much.

Which is why it seemed slightly odd when the media began reporting that Ed was planning to quit music after the tour ended to "have a more normal life".

The rumours began when the Daily Star quoted "a source close to Ed", saying he was planning on quitting music "for 5-10 years" before releasing another album.

Ed has pretty much achieved everything there is to achieve in music. He absolutely loves what he does and is riding the wave of his success at the moment, but at the same time he wants a more normal life. When or if he gets married he wants to put his wife and kids first and not his career. If that means going AWOL for years then so be it.

But Ed has taken to Twitter to put the rumours to rest – because they are, to put it simply, bollocks.

And his fans are obviously very relieved.
