Canada Wants Literally Nothing To Do With Donald Trump's Racist Ideas

Today, Canada's foreign affairs minister Stéphane Dion had some strong words about Trump's proposal.

"It's something that we can't accept in Canada... We have never been as far removed from what we've just heard in the United States. No political party here could get anywhere near what's been said in the United States, not even with an Olympic-style pole vault."

Leader of the Opposition Rona Ambrose also criticized Trump's "ridiculous comments."

"I don't think I have to be a Conservative to condemn Mr. Trump's remarks. They're ridiculous comments and it's up to the people of the United States to choose who their leader is or up to people in his party but I am sure that, by and large, even people in his party will think his comments are ridiculous."

NDP Leader Tom Mulcair added: "I say we should limit access to Canada for people who are spouting hatred and we should make sure that Donald Trump stays out of Canada."
