1. One of the best things about studying abroad is the friends you made while you were there.
2. They made it REALLYYYY hard to focus on the school part of your time abroad.
3. They're the ones in all of your classic tourist photos at all the important historic landmarks.
4. But they were also there for you to take inappropriate pictures with at those important historical landmarks.
5. You also took like twelve thousand jumping pictures together.
6. Your study abroad friends have seen you do some EMBARRASSING things you might never do in your hometown.
7. And you've had enough heart to hearts that they know some of your deepest secrets.
8. When you had to leave them at the end of the semester, you were lost.
9. And you found yourselves immediately making plans to do it all again.
10. And when you finally reunite, it's like nothing has changed.
11. Your group chat is essential.
12. And any tiny reminder of your time abroad, you immediately report to said group chat.
13. Plus, if you forget the name of a place or a person, they've got your back.
14. Thinking about it, some of your favorite memories are with those crazy people.
15. They're the only ones who never get tired of all your study abroad stories.
16. Missing them is just a fact of life.
17. And every few months, you all agree that you should go back.
18. Maybe one day you will, but for now it's beautiful knowing you have these happy memories and these wonderful people in your life. 💖💖💖
