There is drama; there is romance, there is technology, and plenty of thinking outside the box. You will find yourself drawn to the main character, his focus in life and ability to cut off all the other factors.
Rudy
Based on a true story, Rudy is about Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger, who despite being unable to afford college joins the football practice squad and finds his place in the team proving anything is possible. Quite the inspiring movie, who knows you might end up taking up a sport following in Rudy’s footsteps.

A fascinating tale of a bunch of kids from MIT who are roped in by a professor and whisked away for an evening of fun in Las Vegas. The movie is about how friendships develop, the turmoil students go through and what matters at the end. A key take away from this movie – “The knowledge of math is more than just working out problems.”
Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na
Another cult college movie that comes to our mind when we say talk about college is Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na starring Imran Khan and Genelia. The lovely ‘Kabhi Kabhi Aditi’ song shot at St. Xavier's College in Mumbai, best friends falling in love and relationships between a group of friends is what this movie which became a cult is all about. Imran Khan and Genelia had us tearing our hair out, screaming and laughing through the flick.
Wake up Sid
What a brilliant movie! And oh so real. Many of us have gone through what “Sid” played by Ranbir Kapoor did at one point - the lazy attitude, the pressures of matching up to his parents’ expectations, how his life changes with one incident, and how he didn’t give up his passion in life to stick to what his parents had planned for him despite initial failure. Brings back memories of days when your parents pushed you to your limits?
