How To Save The World (With Kindness)

Random Acts of Kindness (RAOK). Everyday things that you can do as you go about your daily business that add that sparkle to your day. Things that will make you smile when you look back. And they spread positivity and make others smile too. You never know what someone else is going through, a simple act of kindness can do wonders for someone suffering. So, what do you do exactly? The idea is that a random act of kindness is something you do to a stranger, often without them having the knowledge of who "committed" the act. But actually, it can be anyone. A loved one, friend, a child, a stranger in the street. The act, again, there are no rules. Buy a tired mum a coffee. Smile at strangers. Give your lunch to a homeless person. Let other drivers merge. Leave a post it note around with some inspiring words. If you can afford it pay someone else's lunch bill (and your own of course). You can get children involved they usually have the best ideas because they can think outside of the box. Share on Facebook, Twitter etc and encourage other to take part. Challenge yourself. When travelling or in the shower imagine your day ahead and where you can fit a random act of kindness in there. Challenge your mates to lift the bar. You, you individual, you one person in a sea of millions. You can't end wars. You can't stop suffering. You can't cure disease (I assume, if you can go do that). You can't save the arctic. Not alone. But what you can do is spread a bit of love as you go about your day to day life. Keep it up, do more. And you know what, you'll be feeling it too. If we all could do that I think the world would be OK.
