Rare Whale Shark Sighting Off Of San Diego

While on a mako-shark expedition off of Mission Bay in San Diego we encountered and free-dove with the largest fish and shark on the planet, the whale shark for over an hour. Whale sharks are hardly ever encountered in Southern California, preferring warmer, tropical waters. Could be a sign of warming waters associated with El Nino
