1. According to Disney’s animators, Flynn Rider was drawn to resemble a 26 years old and since Rapunzel is 18 years old they would have an 8 year age gap between them.

4. Mother Gothel's dress is from the Renaissance in the 17 hundreds. This is shown to emphasize just how old Mother Gothel really is.
