Get home early after school because the more time you have for homework, the more time you will have night to hang out with your friends. Nobody likes to be working on homework and studying late at night, while all of their friends are having fun. When you go home right after class you have plenty of time to do all your homework right before the night starts. Trust me, in college there is a ton of activities that happen at night you don't want to miss them because started your homework too late.

Turn off music

Simple as what the caption is. DO NOT play music while you are studying. It is a known fact that listening to music distracts you while you are studying or doing any homework. Sure, it makes it a little more relaxing and enjoyable, but it makes the time go by longer because you are having to pick new songs and sing lyrics while you are playing your "bangers" (slang for good music).

Lock your door

Do not be with people while you are doing your work. They will ask you questions about your day and talk about the local gossip. You need to put yourself in a situation where you can only focus on homework.

Stay off of your social media

Do not get on your social media websites in other tabs. If you know anything about social media websites you know that you get constant updates about what your friends are up to. If you stay away from these you will be able to study in peace. Once you are done, you will be able to use it for the rest of the day.

Schedule your time

If you write down your goals for when to get things done, you will be able to use your time efficiently. Write down how long you will work for each class, then you will be able to set a goal for a time to get done.

Know when to say "NO"

Show very good discipline, and tell your friends when you don't think it is a good idea to go out. If you have a lot of work, DO THE WORK!!! One grade in a class can change you from an A to a B. Do not miss an assignment to go out with your friends because one night can ruin your grade.

Get good sleep

Get good sleep because as good as a power nap in the middle of the day is, it'll waste a lot of time that you could have used studying. As long as you go to bed buy 11:00 or 12:00 every night, you'll be good for the rest of the day to do your work and enjoy your night plans.
