Drag is Not A Contact Sport: The Origin - Mimi Imfurst vs. India Ferrah

We all know the famous quote from RuPaul, following Mimi Imfurst's mind-boggling aerial lift of lip sync opponent India Ferrah. Yes you are lip syncing for your life but no one is supposed to, literally, take your life in their hands!

Mimi picks up India, dons her like a feather boa, and does a full shoulder spin that proves she is "Tough Enough" for competitive wrestling. Mimi's unexpected feat of strength leads fellow contestant Manila Luzon to speak out loud the thought burning its way through all of our minds, "What the hell is she thinking? You can't be lifting up drag queens!"

Although no one steps in to stop the runway rampage, in the end Ru does make the only correct decision. She sends Mimi sashaying with the admonishment "Drag is Not a Contact Sport." And thus a RPDR catchphrase was born!

3. Like When You Are Given a Wrestling Challenge

The contestants in Season 4 were tasked with one of the more bizarre challenges in Drag Race herstory. One which was was literally impossible to complete without skin-on-skin action!

Despite some serious nip slip action, Shangela showed she had "The Right Stuff" by enduring Venus' "hands on" approach, proving "even when pushed," you can't stop Shangela!

5. Later On in Season 3, Shangela Gets into an Argument with Mimi Imfurst in "Untucked"

In a S3 "Untucked" episode, Shangela decides she doesn't want to be part of any future Mimi Imfurst's living in. And argument ensues and we learn the following: 1) Do not piss off Shangela. 2) Do not piss off Shangela when she has a drink in her hand. 3) Shangela does not have a sugar daddy. If she wanted a sugar daddy yes she could probably go out and get one because she is what? Sickning! 4) Mimi Imfurst has the ability to channel the dead! (She states that, for her look, she was "channeling Leigh Bowery" a famous British club kid - who died in 1994!)

Rhea Litre (looking gorgeous in her old school short hair look) is just NOT having it from this overzealous scene stealer who won't go away.
