You Can Get Real Money for Completing Dares

There’s a new app called Double Dog that lets you dare your friends to do crazy things for real money or points.

Ever wondered what the game of truth or dare would be like if you were still playing as an adult? What about with real money and without the "truth" aspect?

That is the idea behind the Double Dog App. The app is an interactive social game where you can dare your friends and family members to do crazy things for real money or points.

    Sound familiar?

Because there's a movie coming out called Nerve starring Emma Roberts and Dave Franco.

The idea of the mobile app is simple:

    1. You dare someone to do something for a price and if they choose to do it, they need to send video proof.

    2. If they decide not to do it, they can dare you back for twice the amount.

    3. If you decide to chicken out, you'd pay the person three times the amount.

During a TechCrunch pitch-off in Austin, Texas, earlier this month, one of the Double Dog representatives reported that some players spend over 20 hours a week doing dares for cash.

The craziest dare so far has been to get a tattoo of the Double Dog logo. The person who got the tattoo ended up walking away with $2,000 and a memory that will last a lifetime on his torso.

However, unlike the movie Nerve, Double Dog dares are all sent and received by users. Just remember to be dare responsibly, because the other person can always double dare you back!
