The "Before Watchmen" universe continues to expand with a Moloch the Mystic mini-series starting on November 7th. In the Watchmen time period William Edgar Bright, or Moloch, is a minor super-villain running vice dens in the city and arch-nemesis of the Comedian. Not much detail was given on his life in Alan Moore's iconic story, making Moloch the perfect candidate for a BW origin story.
Before Watchmen: Moloch will be written by current BW: Nite Owl, BW: Dr. Manhattan and upcoming Superman: Earth One Vol. 2 J. Michael Straczynski with art by Eduardo Risso (SPACEMAN and 100 BULLETS).
Cover art and variant covers are still under wraps but DC did confirm Olly Moss would illustrate the #1 variant with Eduardo Risso taking on Moloch #2 cover art and Matt Wagner on board to draw the respective variant.
