Response to What Is Your Favorite Short Story?:
The Lottery by Shirley Jackson Only Shirley Jackson can describe the callousness of human life in the manner that she does. It is my favorite example of American Gothic and a story that has never left me so dumfounded, inspired, and terrified.
Response to Tell Us What Sparked Your Feminist Awakening:
I went to an all-women’s college and used to make fun of the die hard feminists, claiming that they took it all too seriously.
