    The Two Stages Of Learning German As Your Second Language

    It's fun, then it is hard. There is no in between. Shout out to everyone who takes German and has a mutual agreement with the two stages of learning Deutsch.

    Oh heck ja! You're ready to learn an awesome new language. You're only a beginner, so you start off with some simple vocab. You discover how some of the words are similar in English! Sweet! You know this is gonna be great, and you think you're on your way to speaking German FLUENTLY. That's the dream. But young grasshopper, it's a monolithic struggle.

    2. Apathy and Feeling Forlorn

    ?

    Feminine. Masculine. Neuter? Then you learn how some things are spelled... Naturwissenschaften? And then comes the grammar.... Verb to the end? Dative case? Perfect grammar? Keep trying, buddy. It can only get easier.

    That's all there is. Until you're fluent that's it. The happiness then the STRUGGLE. Sorry to discourage anyone who is trying to learn German.
