The changes a law student undergoes between their first and third year of law school are quite extraordinary. Like a caterpillar emerging from it’s cocoon…. and then dying a slow painful death on the grill of station wagon. It’s not that we think we 'know it all.' Quite the contrary. We’ve all just realized that all law school teaches you is how to be a law student. Which is a skill set that will be useless in 5 (FIVE!) months. So 3Ls have a different perspective on law school.
