There’s something dangerous rattling around in that “Bag of Bones”, an alluring but bittersweet new four-song sampler featuring the talents of Outwoods County Riders, Gabriel Brox, Andy Zovko and Genuine Crude. The songs on this independent alternative Roots /Rock release (run-time 15:40) are straight out of a John Ford classic. All the characters are struggling with tough choices. They feel they need to do something drastic to make things right, and put their shattered lives back together. On the Sampler you will hear the “weird old American Folk Music” of UK-based Outwoods County Riders. Also in the mix is the mysterious & hauntingly addictive Gabriel Brox and the Bluesy Folk music of Andy Zovko Bag of Bones is the fourth “Virtual Vinyl” sampler to be released from NYC-based Factory Fast Records. All four songs are mixed and mastered into one easily downloadable file. Virtual Vinyl means the songs are specifically engineered to sound like a record. Start-up NYC-based Factory Fast Records releases original music in addition to compilations. The record label does not feature mainstream music. Its specializes in indie and blues-influenced rock, but also works with artists and bands from many genres. Unique to the label are its digital #VirtualVinyl releases which are sold exclusively by the label and mimic the feel of listening to a record. “Bag of Bones” is available for purchase exclusively from Factory Fast Records.
