It's been weeks since "Mexican" fast food giant Taco Bell first announced that they would be releasing an all-new item after a reveal in a Super Bowl 50 commercial.
They've teased it all over their social media accounts, as well as a "behind the scenes" video featuring Houston Rockets' James Harden.
However, thanks to an offer from Taco Bell to preorder the item, the figurative taco was pulled out of the box early, as many tested it yesterday.
This is the Quesalupa. Starting Monday, you can have the Quesalupa as your very own. According to Taco Bell, the Quesalupa has "Pepper Jack cheese stuffed inside a flaky, crispy shell, It"s layered with premium seasoned beef, crisp lettuce, real cheddar cheese, reduced-fat sour cream, and diced ripe tomatoes."
The new marriage between Quesadilla and Chalupa was actually tested early last year in Toldeo, Ohio, in the cities 36 locations. Even Conan O'Brien was able to try the Quesalupa, or as he called, "Case of Lupes," when he visited Taco Bell's Headquarters last January. (The Quesalupa is seen at around the 5:00 mark.)
While O'Brien loved the Quesalupa, the rest of us will have to wait until Monday to test the new invention.
